Florida's housing sector in May continued to adjust to changing market conditions, including a greater inventory of homes available for sale in many areas. A total of 18,680 existing single-family homes sold statewide last month, a decrease of 24 percent from a year earlier, according to FAR. Meanwhile, the statewide existing-home median price rose 11 percent to $256,400.
